Parans and Gauquelin Sectors - Information Special

This information special explains the Parans and Gauquelin Sectors.

The relationship between two planets that simultaneously cross the same angle or two different angles is called paran (or paranatellon). For example, if Mars crosses the Ascendant at the same time as Saturn is on the Midheaven, there is a paran between the two planets.

Gauquelin sectors, as validated in the research of Michel and Françoise Gauquelin, reflect the planet’s position in the mundane circle based on the proportion of time elapsed between its rising and setting.
