Astromusic is the "music of the planets" that philosophers have speculated about since ancient times.
Both planetary positions and musical notes can be expressed as mathematical ratios. For example, when the Sun is 1/3 of the way across the sky, it corresponds to a musical note played 1/3 of the way down the string of a musical instrument. This is based on the natural law of harmonics as discovered by Pythagoras.
Listen to the music of any moment in time or space--past, present, or future.
Enter birth data and the program calculates the exact positions of the planets, and converts them into mathematical ratios that correspond to musical notes and rhythms. Built in default settings and ACS Atlas make this software easy for anyone to use, while a multitude of research options are available when you explore the menus. This music is then played on your computer. It can also be printed out to be played "live."
Actualized by Gerald Jay Markoe. Programmed by Rique Pottenger, Neil F. Michelsen, and Jon Woolley.
Tune in to your essential self and experience the music of the planets at your birth. Experience the power of meditating to the music of the planets at this moment of "right now".
Note: Astromusic will operate on a MAC if you have a virtual PC program that runs Windows programs. The program requires 258 MB of free disk space. |
