Astrodynes, developed by the Brotherhood o fLight in the 1940s, are a procedure for summarizing and quantifying planetary interactions that has been fairly widely used among astrologers. (It is one of several approaches to the weighting of factors. Another one is the method by which the Astro program for Planetary Profile assigns weights to aspects, houses, etc. in order to synthesize all factors according to a specific life area.)
A birth chart presents a complex picture of planets in signs and houses and of aspects between these planets. Every factor interacts in a unique way in each chart, some planets receiving increased emphasis by such considerations as house placement and closeness of aspects, and others, less.
